Vancouver Weather: Mainly cloudy, with a chance of showers


Metro Vancouver residents might want to pack an umbrella today but there’s a stretch of clear and sunny weather on the way starting Friday — just in time for the weekend.

VANCOUVER, BC: Thursday, March 3. Today’s weather is expected to be mainly cloudy, with a 60 per cent chance of showers this morning and early this afternoon, sunny breaks, and a high of 10 C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. Overnight, it looks mainly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers and a low of 4 C. Then, Friday is expected to start out cloudy but clear up throughout the day, with a high of 9 C. Looking ahead to the weekend, there’s clear and sunny weather in the forecast. Expect sunshine on Saturday and Sunday, with highs of 10 C and 11 C, respectively. Then, next week should start out with more clear and sunny weather on Monday, high of 10 C followed by a mix of sun and cloud with a slight chance of showers on Tuesday, high of 9 C.
