Vancouver Island dance duo Funkanometry is one of this year’s Canada’s Got Talent finalists.

Dancers Jacksun Fryer and Carlow Rush are one of eight finalists who will compete for the $1 million top prize at the Canada’s Got Talent finale in Niagara Falls. The couple previously appeared on Season 3 of NBC’s World of Dance in 2019 and also appeared on America’s Got Talent.

The group is dancing for big bucks competing against Halifax comedian Travis Lindsay, Indigenous Prince Albert, Saskatchewan singer Rebecca Strong, Toronto magician Mark Clearview, Maple Leafs anthem singer Natalie Morris and roller skating duo Quebec Mat & Mym wheels.

Fryer and Rush need to surprise the Canadians to win. They’ve already impressed host Lindsay Eli and judges Kardinal Offishall, Trish Stratus, Howie Mandel and Lilly Singh.
