The Minister responsible for Seniors and Caregivers, Marguerite Blais, qualifies as “inadmissible”, the facts mentioned in the investigation of the Duty published Monday about the CHSLD Argyle / Résidence Les Écluses St-Lambert.

18 residents, family caregivers and employees of the private residence CHSLD Argyle / Les Écluses St-Lambert, denounce negligence with regard to the care and hygiene of users, as well as the cleanliness of the establishment . The Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) of the Montérégie-Center has also mandated an external and independent investigator for an overall assessment of the quality of this resource, of which 95% of the places are beds purchased by the public. .

“My firm and I are closely monitoring the situation unfolding at CHSLD Argyle – RI Les Écluses in Saint-Lambert. All seniors have the right to quality care and services and no neglect will be tolerated ”, informed the Duty by email the Minister responsible for Seniors and Caregivers, who was not available for an interview.

    My brother live there….my 84 years old mother go visit him one day on the weekend she clean his room she wash his clothes at her house because his clothes were stoling from the laundry room….. she buy him food because the food there his disgusting….my brother pay more then $1,000.00 a month for what?? I can’t sleep at nite thinking what he had suffer and what he his suffering now. I live and the USA I will arrive and Canada the last week of may. I will take legal action that’s a promise. I will do everything in my power to close this place down. My voice will be heard.
