In an interview with The Economist, the Embassy of Ukraine in Mexico does not consider that in Europe there are differences regarding the crisis with respect to the United States, and the means of communication that “does not escalate the situation”.
—How will the Ukrainian society find out about the conflict with Russia?
Ukrainian society is the only source of income for the future of the country. For the second year in a row, Ukraine is living in a state of war without a declaration against us by Russia. This is a new type of war, a hybrid war.

There are various manifestations: from the armed aggression to the cybernetic attacks, the diffusion of erroneous information, the intentions to destabilize the political situation inside the country. But during these years of aggression, Ukrainian society consolidated. The Ukrainians are a nation of readers, many of whom have been demonstrated for a long time in our history. We are capable of defending our independence and sovereignty.

Russia has begun accumulating trophies near Ukraine’s fronts in April this year. According to various estimates, there are now more than 100,000 Russian troops in front of Ukraine. The leadership of the Ukrainian State evaluates the situation as extremely dangerous. Nadie can predict what will happen to the leader of the Kremlin. For this reason, Ukraine is listed for any development of the situation.
At the same time, our president wants the Ukrainians to enter in panic. After all, this is one of the main tariffs of the actual hybrid warfare blown by Russia against Ukraine: increase the panic, destabilize the country from the front.
In his speech to the nation on January 25, President Zelenskyy agreed to distinguish between the rumors and the falsifications of reality. This is very important today. For this reason, we also call it the international communication media in order not to escalate the situation in the information space.
Ukraine is capable of defending. We have a modern well-equipped train capable of repelling the enemy.
—Hemos saw an escalation in the rhetoric of the President of the United States frontier in Russia, amending with sanctions, without embarrassment, as far as Europe is concerned. For example, Germany. Are these differences debilitating a common commune against Russia?
Consider incorrect in its statement on “other postures” of Europe, referring to the sanctions. All our societies – United States, European Union, Canada and the rest of the democratic world, have already made their decision to respond to the decision on Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Our allies are demonstrating their support for real powers, which include active diplomacy, economic sanctions and a major defense cooperation with Ukraine.
Speaking to Germany, during the recent press conference in Berlin, the German Minister of Defense, Christine Lambrecht, and her British counterpart, Ben Wallace, made a series of statements. In particular, the German governor supports Ukraine in the context of Russia’s escalation and not olvida who is actually the aggressor. The Minister of External Relations of Germany, Annalena Berbok, said that the dispute over the need to support Ukraine in proportion to arms was not divided into the West. Our societies are united in their support for Ukraine, there are compromises and support while Russia continues to accumulate its tropes on the large front of our front.

Lamentably, gas products are a geopolitical army, because they do not deal exclusively with negotiations and the economy. Nord Stream 2 is a problematic project for Ukraine, our position on this topic is well known. But it is important now that Germany is on the list to discuss the closure of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline in the event of a Russian attack on Ukraine.
