Ukraine carried out a prisoner swap with Russia on Saturday, with seven soldiers and seven civilians returning home, the Ukrainian deputy prime minister said. Iryna Vereshchuk in an online post.
One of the soldiers was a five-month pregnant woman, he added. She did not say how many Russians had been sent back.
The two countries have exchanged prisoners several times during the conflict that began with Russia’s invasion on February 24. Thursday ukrainiana said Russia had handed over 33 soldiers.
