Two suspects wanted for arson in the Laurentians

The Sûreté du Québec is asking for the public’s help in finding the perpetrators of two arson attacks that occurred in less than a month in the Laurentians.

The first event occurred on February 8, in Wenworth-Nord, when two vehicles parked in a private driveway on Chemin du Lac-Louisa were set on fire.

According to what the investigation made it possible to establish, two suspects wearing dark clothes could be at the origin of the crime. They reportedly arrived at the scene in a gray Cadillac SRX vehicle.

Three weeks later, the 1er March, around 4 a.m., a commercial building on Route du Nord was the target of an arson attack in Brownsburg-Chatam. According to information obtained by the police, this event could be linked to the fire in the two vehicles a few weeks earlier.

Any information that could help trace the perpetrators of these crimes can be communicated to the Criminal Information Center of the Sûreté du Québec, at 1 800 659-4264.
