Two students stabbed on grounds of Mississauga high school: police


Two students were injured when they were stabbed on the grounds of a high school in Mississauga on Tuesday afternoon, Peel Regional Police said.

Officers were called to St. Marcellinus Secondary School in the Courtneypark Drive and Mavis Road area, at 12:22 pm for reports of a disturbance on school property.

They located two victims at the school and said paramedics were attending to their injuries.

Paramedics said one victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The conditions of both students are not yet known.

St. Marcellinus is in lockdown and Mississauga Secondary School, about 650 meters to the east, is in hold and secure mode.

Officers said the suspect involved fled the scene.
