The Essex Ontario County Provincial Police (OPP) presented local residents Deacon Ross and Carter Faust with the Commissioner’s Citation for their efforts to save a man on a bicycle who suffered medical problems after colliding with another cyclist in Lakeshore.
Inspector Glenn Miller filed the subpoena on behalf of OPP Commissioner Thomas Carrique at the OPP detachment in Essex last Friday.
“It is a great privilege to recognize the people who have stepped up and responded to help others during difficult circumstances. Our community is better off with people like these. ”Miller said.
