Two cars set on fire at the Ahuntsic-Cartierville driveway

Two cars were set on fire in an Ahuntsic-Cartierville driveway early Sunday morning.

A 911 call alerted police to the Robertine Barry Street fire near Claude Gauvreau Street at 2 a.m. When the officers arrived at the scene, the firefighters had the situation under control.

Although the cars were destroyed, the residence suffered only minor damage.

The Montreal police arson squad is investigating the incident.

No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

Both cars were towed away for forensic analysis.
