No injuries were reported after a transport truck trailer jammed under a bridge in Cobourg on Sunday night.
The incident occurred around 7:40 pm on the CN Rail bridge on Burnham Street. The vehicle was traveling south when it got stuck.
Debris from the trailer’s roof littered the road.
The driver was not injured in the collision.
Burnham Street from King Street West to Westwood Drive was closed until transportation could be removed and CP Rail officials reviewed the integrity of the bridge.
It is not known if charges will be filed.
