The 23-year-old, originally from Nova Scotia, recorded win No. 20 on Monday night while increasing her total winnings to a spectacular (US)$476,985.
With the win, Roach moves into a tie with supply-chain professional Julia Collins for the fifth-longest winning streak in Jeopardy! history.
Giving Roach a decent run for her money through the early rounds of the night were church organist Becky Benninghoff, from Woodbridge, Va., and Adam Ilgin, a ferryboat deckhand from Lewes, Del.
