Three to watch: art by Uli Rossier, comedy by Ms. Pat and Belladonna of Sadness

Uli’s art “I’m not a coward, I’m still learning,” says Uli Rossier, a captivating oil and ink pastel impressionist and happily Nina Haggerty’s Artist of the Year 2021. Look at your art and you can happily lose yourself in all those lines and colors. Janice Easton from the gallery notes: “We normally celebrate our Artist of the Year with a big party in February, but we have had to postpone it over and over again due to COVID. We decided to put it up before the year was out and have a little get-together for Uli’s family and close friends, but we’d still love to have more people see it! “You have been summoned!

Bed : The Degenerates and The Cabin with Bert Kreischer on Netflix, as well as This Is Not Happening on Comedy Central, have one thing in common: Atlanta-born comedian Ms. Pat from a single mother of five, Ms. Pat learned early on that she would have to fend for herself in this world, at one point selling drugs under the name Rabbit. But thankfully she escaped the streets and is now a tough-as-nails comedian, here to race in Rick Bronson’s place in the sprawling impressive mall.

Belladonna of Sadness (1973) : Screened as part of Not Your Final Girl Film Series, a peasant girl is attacked by the local lord on her wedding night. To get revenge, she makes a pact with the Devil himself who appears as an erotic goblin and transforms her into a black-clad vision of madness and desire. Directed by Eiichi Yamamoro, this looks amazing; Japanese with subtitles.
