Three teens charged with alleged assault on video in Thunder Bay, Ontario. – Barrie | The Canadian News

THUNDER BAY, Ontario. – Thunder Bay, Ontario police say they charged three teens in an assault that was captured on video and shared on social media.

Investigators say they became aware of a video circulating showing a group of young men attacking a young woman.

Police believe it happened on the afternoon of September 18 in or near the Maria JL Public Library parking lot.

A young man of 14, 16 and 17 years old have been accused of robbery.

The 17-year-old also faces a charge of assault with a weapon.

All three have been released with future court dates and are not being identified under the Juvenile Justice Act.
