Three shootings leave at least 4 injured in Toronto on Sunday


At least four people have been injured in three separate shootings Sunday afternoon, police said.

Toronto police said in a tweet they were called to a shooting near Humber Boulevard and Alliance Avenue around 2:45 pm

They said officers found two victims at the scene with critical gunshot injuries. Both were taken to hospital.

Police spokesperson Const. Alex Li told reporters at the scene that the incident occurred outside 121 Humber Ave. He said the two victims were a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old boy.

At around 4:25 pm, paramedics said first responders were called about gunshots near Allen Road and Lawrence Avenue West. Police tweeted they found a man with a gunshot wound in the area. Paramedics said they took the man, who they said was around 30 years old, to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Minutes later, paramedics said they were called to Caledonia Road and Lawrence Avenue West, where they found a man with no vital signs. Police tweeted there had been reports of gunshots in that area.

Police said they have no suspect information for any of the shootings at this time and are investigating.
