Longueuil police arrested three suspects in Brossard on Sunday after the force received a call around 8:30 a.m. from a man claiming to be the victim of a kidnapping and armed assault.

Police say the man was injured in the incident and taken to a local hospital, but authorities do not fear for his life. A police spokesman declined to comment further on the nature of the victim’s injuries or what happened.
The police force said the parties involved are between 25 and 30 years old and appear to know each other.
A perimeter was set up on St-Laurent Blvd. in Brossard on Sunday as police continued to investigate.
The force is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact 911.
