The US Government warns of possible extremist activity after the Supreme Court’s decision

The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has warned of “possible extremist activity” after the decision adopted on Friday by the Supreme Court to revoke the constitutional right to suspend pregnancy.

The objectives cover a wide spectrum, according to the relationship given by the CNN network, from government offices, courts, to organizations both for and against abortion.

“The freedom of speech and the right to peaceful protest of Americans are fundamental constitutional rights. Those rights do not extend to violence and other illegal activities,” a Homeland Security spokesperson told CNN in a statement.

“DHS will continue to work with our partners at all levels of government to share information and support law enforcement efforts to keep our communities safe,” he added. She had previously posted a newsletter of the National Counter Terrorism Advisory System warning of possible violence surrounding the Supreme Court’s ruling on abortion rights.
