Despite the fact that it has been repeated ad nauseam that the ‘procés’ has died, the will of the Government of the Generalitat of continue negotiating budgets with the CUP, a very minority party and with political positions far removed from those of the majority of Catalans, together with its refusal to sit down and talk about it with other parties such as the PSC or the Comuns, which have offered themselves, is very illustrative of the difficulties that independence leaders have to get away from the processist mental framework that has dominated in recent years. The one that falsely maintains that the pro-independence majority has shared interests from which a joint strategy is deduced to which everything must be subordinated and that has as a consequence that any attempt at an agreement that escapes that logic is considered as a betrayal and used as throwing weapon.
