The Participation System Surveillance Committee will supervise the allocation and transfer of more than one billion pesos to states and municipalities


Monterey, NL. This Friday, May 6, the governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, met with the finance secretaries of seven states, to hold a session of the Participation System Surveillance Committee.

He stressed that in 2022 the function of the Surveillance Committee will have special importance, since it will supervise the allocation and transfer of more than one trillion pesos, which it is estimated, the federal government will distribute to states and municipalities.

The secretary of finance and general treasurer of the state, Carlos Garza Ibarra acts as national coordinator of the Participation System Surveillance Committee (for the period 2021-2022).

García Sepúlveda said that the experience and background of Garza Ibarra, who has been in charge of finances for many years, allows him to have a complete vision of the importance of federal contributions to states and municipalities, so he has no doubt that You will find areas for improvement in Fiscal Coordination, as well as the rest of the federal transfers of federalized spending.

The operation of this Committee consists of collaborating with the organisms of the National Fiscal Coordination Systemin the studies, analyzes and proposals in matters of its competence, and support the Permanent Commission of Tax Officials in its power to monitor the funds referred to in the Fiscal Coordination Lawas well as the rest of federal transfers from federalized spending.

Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda, emphasized that Nuevo León has healthy finances, which will allow for an infrastructure package to improve mobility in the entity.

“These six years of government that touches us, what gives me the most solidity is the financial issue.
