Queretaro, Qro. There is interest in attracting investments from the Netherlands to Querétaro, said the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Mexico, Wilfred Mohrduring a meeting with the governor, Mauricio Kuri Gonzalez.
According to a press release from the local government, the ambassador shared that businessmen based in Querétaro feel comfortable with the investment climate; as well as the strategic location of the entity.
During the meeting, at the Government Palace, the governor endorsed the commitment of the state administration to provide certainty to businessmen for the benefit of the inhabitants of the entity.
Kuri González highlighted that the aim is to promote a model of economic development with care to the environment, which is why the state model of circular economy was discussed, as well as the purpose that the state has set for decarbonizing the local economy.
The investments of the Netherlands, he explained, have been reflected in the arrival of agro-industrial companies and technology research development.
