New scam for get bank details aimed at the elderly. Some scammers pretend to be Social Security and, through a letter, report that the retirement pension of the person they are they are directed has increased between 75 and 150 euros.
So, they request that it be emailed two photographs of the DNI or NIE, as well as a bank statement to proceed with the alleged collection. This is the copy of the letter released by the Catalan police:

If you receive a letter like this, you should never send any information or the data that is requested and it should be made known to the authorities. The Mossos ask that it be disseminated this information among the closest elders.
Social Security never requests personal data in this way or asks for information to be sent to it via unofficial email.
