The positive in covid-19 of the Belgian choreographer and dancer Jan Martens has forced to suspend the performance of the show ‘Elisabeth gets her way’ scheduled for Thursday, March 17 at the Mercat de les Flors, within the Quinsena de Dansa Metropolitana. The news of the diagnosis, and the consequent cancellation, has come just a few hours after Martens danced on Wednesday night in the Pina Bausch room of the Mercat this solo with music by the Polish harpsichordist Elisabeth Chojnacka.

The Mercat de les flors has communicated that On the other hand, the representations of the other show presented by Jan Martens, ‘Any attempt will end in crushed bodies and shattered bones’scheduled for March 19 and 20, because the interpreters of the piece -17 dancers between 16 and 70 years old- have not had recent contact with the choreographer.
The cost of the tickets for the suspended function of ‘Elisabeth gets her way’ will be returned through the same channel through which they were acquired.
