The bridge will reopen to traffic during the day starting at 7 a.m. M.

The Transportation Ministry suggests that drivers plan ahead and take the detour onto Highway 20.

The necessary resurfacing works are the reason for the closure according to the Ministry of Transport.

Work is also scheduled for the weekend of October 1.

The bridge’s originally scheduled full night closure was canceled due to operational restrictions, the ministry said.
