The Government will transfer 58 million to Catalonia for the young rent bonus

The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda has officially resolved how much money it will transfer to each community for the management of the young housing rental bonus. Of a total budget of 400 million euros, Catalonia It will take just under 15%, 58 million euros. It is the third community that will receive the most money, a podium that heads Andalusia with 68.4 million euros and which completes Madridwith 63.6 million.

The Government’s plan is that the transfers be divided into two equal parts in each community: the first will be received this year (although the date is not specified) and the second, next year. Thus, the Generalitat will receive 29 million euros this 2022, and in 2023, another injection of the same amount.

According to the statement sent this Thursday by the Ministry in question, once these resolutions have been notified, the autonomous communities will have to give their consent so that the Government can execute the transfers. “In any case -adds the text-, the autonomous communities and cities of Ceuta and Melilla can already summon the aid of the Youth Rental Bonus”.

This instrument is an aid of 250 euros per month for a period of 2 years for young people between 18 and 35 years of age who earn a maximum of around 24,300 euros (three times the IPREMthe Public Indicator of Income of Multiple Effects) and pay 600 euros for a flat or, alternatively, 300 euros for a room.
