The National Union of Workers of the Ministry of Health (SNTSA) The 47th Ordinary National Council of Leaders of the National Union of Workers of the Ministry of Health (SNTSA) is held, where the process to renew union representations under the new obligations established by the Federal Labor Law, which establishes direct, free vote and secret.
According to the national leader of the central Trade Union Federation of Workers at the Service of the State, Joel Ayala Almeida, the renewal process will be under the supervision of the Federal Court of Conciliation and Arbitration; It is a new stage of union democracy, he stated, “we value the labor reform initiative so that they are the workers, granting free participation in the particular case of the unions in section B of article 123 of the Constitution, which jurisdictionally includes workers at the service of the State”.
The presiding magistrate of the TFCyA, Placido Humberto Morales Vázquez, will be the one who will give testimony of the conduct of the renewal process.
Ayala Almeida highlighted that the unity of each union allows obtaining important achievements in terms of wages and benefits for workers, such as a 5.4% increase for workers in the medical, paramedical and related groups retroactively to May 1, and the granting of the end-of-year vouchers with an amount of 13,300 pesos “results of fighting with the protest flags, strengthening the country’s institutions and promoting a plural and inclusive action,” he said.
The works of the 47 National Council of Leaders of the SNTSA, were led by its president, Marco Antonio García Ayala, who stressed during the start of the national event that it will allow the union agenda to be resumed, which will be aimed at strengthening the rights of health workers.
He pointed out that the importance of the democratic exercise of open participation that the SNTSA will carry out soon will be openly addressed, under the commitment to promote its internal democracy.
García Ayala informed that there is great understanding, dialogue and meetings with the authorities of the Federal Health Secretariat, in order to strengthen the General Conditions of Work and consolidate the legal framework of the relationship between the Health Secretariat and the national union representation.
The presiding magistrate of the TFCyA, Placido Humberto Morales Vázquez, stressed that today there are new times in the representation of unions in the country.
“Of all the reforms promoted by the Federal government, the labor one has the greatest consensus because it seeks union democratization that has been promoted by the national leader of the FSTSE Joel Ayala.”
At the end of the inaugural event of the 47th Ordinary National Council, in an interview with the leader of the CEN of the FSTSE, he advanced his congratulations and recognition to the doctors who tomorrow Saturday October 23 celebrate their commemorative date.
