Teen taken to hospital with serious injuries after stabbing in Plympton, NS

A teenager was taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing in Plympton, NS, on Monday.

At approximately 3 p.m., Digby RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing near a highway in Plympton.

Police say they determined that an altercation occurred between two teenagers who know each other.

According to the police, a 14-year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

A 17-year-old was released by the court and will appear in Digby Juvenile Court on January 24, 2022 to face the following charges:

  • Aggravated assault
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Make threats

The investigation continues.
