Teen in custody after two students stabbed at Mississauga high school

Peel Regional Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy after two students were stabbed at a Mississauga high school on Tuesday.

“He is in custody but charges haven’t been laid yet,” Const. Heathe Cannon said Tuesday afternoon.

Peel Regional Police officers were called to St. Marcellinus Secondary School in the Courtneypark Dr.-Mavis Rd. area around 12:20 pm for reports of a stabbing.

“The victims are students. There was a disturbance on school property and the suspects fled the scene,” said Const. Akhil Mooking.

Both students have been transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses provided the identity of the suspect to officers who were trying to track that person down.

The suspect and victims are all under the age of 18.
