Winnipeg’s Jennifer Jones has captured the glory of curling once again, securing a spot at the Beijing Winter Games in February.
Jones’ team St. Vital defeated Tracy Fleury’s East St. Paul track 6-5 in a duel that saw Jones roll a little too far in the 10th and force an extra finish.
Fleury rubbed a guard on his last pitch from the extra end to give Jones a steal of one and the win.
Jones won Olympic gold on his only other trip to the games in 2014.
