Suspects sought in York Region robbery

York Regional Police are looking for four suspects accused of robbing a pharmacy and threatening staff.

On Monday, March 14, at about 12:55 pm, police responded to a call from a passerby that a pharmacy in the area Hwy. 7 and Martin Grove Rd. was being robbed.

Police learned that four male suspects entered the pharmacy and allegedly threatened the employees while demanding narcotics and cash.

The suspects then fled, with the drugs, in a white SUV.

The first suspect is male, in his early 20s, with a slim build, gray hooded sweater, dark jacket, dark pants and shoes.

The second suspect is male, early 20s, average build, black hooded sweater, black jacket, black jogging pants with a white stripe on the side, and black shoes with white socks.

The third suspect is male, in his early 20s, with an average build, gray hoodie, black pants showing a white logo on the side and black shoes.

The final suspect is male, in his early 20s, with an average build, and wearing a blue hat with orange writing, a black vest, with a dark gray hoodie and black pants.

“Investigators from the Hold-Up Unit remind citizens they are the eyes and ears of the community. Calling police when you observe suspicious vehicles, people, or circumstances can help solve crimes and keep our community safe. We will respond to these calls,” police said in a release.
