Surrey RCMP seek suspect in sexual assault, break and enter

Surrey RCMP seek a suspect and anyone with information after a woman was sexually assaulted Saturday morning.

A break-and-enter to a residence occurred at about 6:40 am and a woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown male.

Police were called to the 12900 block of 101A Avenue and officers spoke with the adult female resident, who was taken to hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a male in his mid 30s with light colored skin, approximately 5 foot 6, wearing dark colored clothing.

Police are conducting video and witness canvassing in the area.

Surrey RCMP’s Special Victims Unit is asking anyone with information or CCTV or dash cam footage to contact investigators at 604-599-0502.
