Several Islamophobic graffiti incidents are being investigated in the central Newton area of ​​Surrey.

Surrey RCMP stated in a press release today (July 16) that the police have received several reports of anti-Muslim graffiti since July 5.

The most recent example, reported on July 14, was found in a dumpster on a commercial property and on a power pole near a mosque about 72North Dakota Avenue and King George Boulevard in Surrey.

Investigators believe the incidents are related and may involve the same individual or group of people.
