Sunny start to the week with 10 degrees in southern Quebec

The week is starting under good weather auspices with generally sunny weather almost everywhere in Quebec and spring temperatures.

In the south of the province, it will be 10 degrees, although Environment Canada predicts a wind chill of -6 degrees during the morning, especially in Montreal.

In Estrie, Beauce and Quebec, practically the same scenario will apply, while in the areas a little further north, the mercury will drop significantly.

In the Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie, as well as the North Shore, the weather will be variable with temperatures in the normal season, according to forecasts from the federal agency.

In some areas, especially in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, a few snow showers are to be expected, but not enough to dig a cat.

The mercury is expected to climb to 15 degrees Tuesday in southern Quebec, albeit with intermittent rain, while intermittent snow is expected in the center of the province.
