Sun, Unsettled Conditions Forecast for Okanagan Canada Day Weekend – Okanagan | Globalnews.ca

It was a warm and sunny start to the Canada Day long weekend, with temperatures in the 20s in the interior of southern BC.

However, time will tell if those conditions remain constant over the next 72 hours.

From Salmon Arm to Osoyoos, Environment Canada forecasts unsettled conditions through Sunday with sunny skies and temperatures ranging from 27 to 31 C plus a 30 to 40 percent chance of showers.

Additionally, Friday’s forecast for the Okanagan and Shuswap indicates a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
