Stock market: Wall Street opens lower, the market takes a breath

MARKET REVIEW. The New York Stock Exchange opened lower on Friday, catching its breath after a hectic week, but also concerned about the ban on cryptocurrencies by Chinese authorities.

For its part, the Toronto Stock Exchange started its day in the red in part due to negative returns in the information technology sector.
