MARKET REVIEW. The New York Stock Exchange began a slight rebound at the opening Wednesday and bond rates settled down in the wake of the worst session since March for the technology sector.
For its part, the main index on the Toronto Stock Exchange opens in the green while six of its eight sectors offer positive returns.
The clues
In Toronto, the S & P / TSX took 18.52 points (+ 0.09%) to 20,192.66 points.
In New York, the S&P 500 rose 8.62 points (+ 0.20%) to 4,361.25 points.
the Nasdaq increased by 52.60 points (+ 0.36%) to 14,599.28 points.
the DOW collected 38.98 points (+ 0.11%) to 34,338.97 points.
the loonie declined from US $ 0.0021 (-0.26%) to US $ 0.786 3.
the oil lost US $ 0.37 (-0.49%) to US $ 74.92.
THE’gold was down US $ 1.20 (-0.07%) to US $ 1,736.30.
