After two stabbings in the borough of LaSalle, in Montreal, the police want to reassure the female population, among whom a wave of panic has set in.
“Since there seems to be a growing concern among the female population, we would like to point out that the victims involved were male,” reads a press release from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
“There is also no indication that the suspect seems to be targeting men more,” authorities said Thursday.
Recall that a command post was deployed on June 11 after two victims were suddenly stabbed in the borough of LaSalle.
The suspect has still not been arrested.
