Possible Listeria contamination has led to a recall of sliced ​​white mushrooms sold in Ontario and Quebec and possibly other provinces or territories.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says Carleton Mushroom has recalled the mushrooms, which were prepared for Metro Brands.

The product was sold in packages of 227 grams with an expiration date of October 25, 2021.

Customers are told to throw away the mushrooms or return them to the store where they bought them.

There have been no reports of illnesses related to the product.

Listeria-contaminated food may not look or smell bad, and symptoms may include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache, and a stiff neck.
