Just after 4 a.m. Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to a collision where the two streets meet. A vehicle collided and damaged the traffic lights at the intersection.
The sole occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital with injuries that police described as non-fatal.
Banwell Road is closed from Intersection Road to County Road 42, and County Road 42 is closed from Lesperance Road to Concession Road 11. Access is only available to those who need to go to school in the area or for local businesses. Other drivers will have to find an alternate route, police said.
