In a press release, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said Sharnbeer Singh Somal was killed on Tuesday. Somal was found with gunshot wounds around 10 p.m. in a driveway in the area of ​​122nd Street and 80th Avenue.

IHIT said that the police knew Somal and that she was the target of the murder. His murder is believed to be related to an “ongoing gang conflict,” police said.

Police want to speak to anyone who saw a black Ford pickup in the area at the time of the shooting and afterward. The truck was found on fire near 129A Street and 72A Avenue.
