The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) is looking for potential victims of Nicolas Pageau, 26, arrested Friday evening for sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, luring and possession of child pornography.
The man appeared by videoconference on Saturday afternoon, but the police have reason to believe that he could have had other victims.
Nicolas Pageau could have approached young students from various high schools and private schools in the Sainte-Foy, L’Ancienne-Lorette and Val-Bélair sectors.
The suspect “is known to supply tobacco and alcohol items to young people. Once he knows these young people a little, he invites them into his car and hands over the items to then commit the alleged acts,” according to a press release from the SPVQ.
