Seriously Injured Male Victim After Shooting Near Etobicoke Banquet Hall – Toronto | The Canadian News

Authorities say a male victim is in mortal danger after a shooting in north Etobicoke.

Emergency crews were called to the Kipling Avenue and Rexdale Boulevard area around 1 a.m. Monday.

Police said several people called to report a shooting near a banquet hall in the area.

Teams found a victim and several bullet casings, police said.

Toronto paramedics said a male patient, believed to be a teenager, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police confirmed that an event was taking place at the Royal King Banquet Hall. It is unknown what type of event was happening or how many people attended.
