Members of the Federation of Early Childhood Workers of Quebec (FIPEQ) will stop working from November 22 to 24, while those of the Federation of Social and Health Services (FSSS) will go on strike from November 22 to 25.

While Quebec and the unions agreed to increase the pace of negotiations over the next few days, FIPEQ repeated that it wants substantial salary increases for all groups of employees, as well as more money for the integration of children with special needs, a repeated demand. by the FSSS.

FIPEQ president Valérie Grenon said in a statement released Monday night that the government was closed to the idea of ​​wage increases, which along with the length of the working week are important issues in contract negotiations.
