The driver of an all-terrain vehicle was seriously injured Sunday morning when he lost control of the vehicle around a curve.
Police are investigating whether the injured man, who is in his 70s, suffered from a medical problem or if the ATV was defective. The accident occurred in Notre-Dame-des-Bois, a small town in Eastern Townships.
The man was taken to hospital, but his life was not in danger, Sgt. Audrey-Anne Bilodeau, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
