See the latest data on COVID deaths, hospitalizations and vaccinations in Ontario

This page tracks the most recent COVID-19 data reported by the province.

The Ontario government now releases COVID-19 data once a week, every Thursday.

About the date

On June 16, the Ontario government halted daily COVID-19 data reporting, moving to weekly reports. Daily numbers for the previous seven days are included in the weekly report. Case counts are not included here. Reduced testing this year means that the number of cases shown is no longer an accurate reflection of how widespread the virus is.

The Ontario government defines “fully vaccinated” as receiving either two or three doses of a Health Canada-approved COVID vaccine; one dose of a non-Health Canada-approved vaccine followed by one dose of a Health Canada-approved vaccine; three doses of a non-Health Canada-approved vaccine; or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The province has not released any data on fourth doses for any age groups.
