On February 4, Hernán Villarreal reported that he would file a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor for alleged irregularities detected in the direct award process in the acquisition and contracting of the reconditioning service for German wagons for the Metrorrey Collective Transport Service.

The main problem is that the delivery-reception of only 12 of the 24 cars that were acquired has been made, which cannot be integrated into the operation, since they were not conditioned to the requirements of the facilities of the three subway lines. .

The cost of acquisition and conditioning was 1,128 million pesos and 90 percent has been spent.

The wagons of German origin have represented a cost of 206,233 pesos per seat to the state, which is higher than the 198,821 pesos that were paid to the Chinese company.
