Secretary General of OPEC arrives on a visit to Venezuela


The Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Mohammad Barkindo, arrived in Venezuela on an official visit for a series of meetings with officials from the South American country, authorities in Caracas said on Friday.

Barkindo was received at the international airport near Caracas by the Minister of Agriculture, Wilmar Castro, said the Venezuelan Oil Ministry in a statement released Friday afternoon on his official Twitter account.
