Saskatoon Real Estate Market Slowing But Still Healthy, Says Association of Realtors – Saskatoon | The Canadian News

While the real estate market in Saskatoon has slowed, home prices have risen.

So far this year, residential home prices have risen eight percent, according to the Saskatchewan Association of Realtors (MS).

However, sales have slowed compared to 2020, which posted record numbers.

Chris Guerette, SRA CEO, says the market was not typical last year due to the pandemic.

“So what we are seeing here is a market that is still very good in Saskatchewan, although we would be watching the inventory levels.”

Although sales and supply levels have fluctuated, the real estate market remains relatively neutral as the ratio of new listings to sales is still above 60 percent.
