Saskatchewan RCMP continues to seek help from the public to find a seven-year-old girl who is believed to be with her father.

Michael Gordon Jackson was charged on Jan. 21 with kidnapping in violation of custody or parenting order.

According to an RCMP release, observations and tips received have not yet helped investigators locate Jackson or his daughter Sarah Jackson.

The release added Sarah’s mother, Mariecar Jackson, has been given full custody of her daughter and the RCMP is focusing on reuniting the two.

The RCMP investigation indicates that there are people who help or assist Michael to evade the police.

New charges laid against Michael Gordon Jackson – 21 January 2022

“We remind these individuals that you are helping to keep Sarah from her mother. “It has been more than two months since Sarah’s mother saw her daughter,” reads the release.

An earlier release from the RCMP said those helping Michael may face criminal charges.

Mariecar told Global News the last time she saw her daughter was mid-November.

“Mom will never stop, will never stop fighting for you. I just want you to know – just hang out there and mum will send you back home, “Mariecar said in tears on January 24.

Michael made an appearance on Live with Laura-Lynn in early January on Rumble where he told the host that he was detaining his daughter because he did not want her to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

An earlier release said Michael lived in the Carievale, Sask. area, but may have connections to other Saskatchewan communities such as Dilke, Oxbow, Alameda, Regina and Lamont, Alta. RCMP added he could be in other communities as well.
