Saskatchewan Gaming and Spirits Authority Investigates Christmas Day Cybersecurity Incident | The Canadian News

The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) reports that it has temporarily disabled certain computer systems and applications, while investigating a cybersecurity incident that occurred on December 25.

The SLGA was committed to its data security plan once the incident was discovered, securing its systems and mitigating the impact on its data and operations.

Independent cybersecurity experts have been recruited, in accordance with industry best practices, to assist in the investigation of SLGA.

SLGA says it will bring the affected systems back online once its advisers have addressed the incident and assess the impact on its operations.

SLGA declares that it has no evidence that the security of any customer, employee or other personal data has been misused, and asks for patience during the investigation.
