Santander inaugurates its new corporate District Querétaro with an investment of 2,500 million pesos


Queretaro, Qro. Santander Bank opened its new corporate Queretaro Districta project in which it invested 2,500 million pesos and where it employs 2,600 collaborators.

Through the new building, the financial institution plans to reach 10,000 workers, said the president and CEO of Grupo Financiero Santander México, Hector Grisi Czech.

“I am sure that the facilities of District Santander Queretaro and future projects, which we will have to develop in this beautiful entity, will allow us to continue building the progress of people and companies, not only in Querétaro, but in the country”, he declared.

This new complex is located next to the bank’s Contact Center, in the state capital. It is made up of an auditorium, 244 collaborative spaces, 79 meeting rooms, 17 training rooms, as well as a corporate dining room and more than 1,000 parking spaces.

During the inauguration, Governor Mauricio Kuri González said that the opening reaffirms the entity as one of the main centers for the financial sector in the country, as well as a destination for doing business.

The Secretary of Finance, Gustavo Arturo Leal Maya, highlighted that Santander is positioned as the largest employer and main payroll tax payer in the entity.
