A driver in her twenties lies between life and death Sunday morning after losing control of her vehicle in Sainte-Mélanie, in the Lanaudière region.
The swerve would have occurred around 6:30 a.m. on the row of the estate. The young woman would have, according to information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), lost control of her machine in a curve, rolled over several times and finally ended her race by hitting a tree with high speed.
She was transported to a hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
An SQ reconstructionist was called to the scene to analyze the scene in order to understand the circumstances of the accident.
